City gas connection Bhubaneswar
I applied for a city gas connection for my residence at B-1/303, New JB Nagar Maitri Vihar,Bhubaneswar. On Novemebr 2,2019, a few persons came to do installation of PNG connection without any paper. Partly work done, proper fixing of meter is yet to be done as I was told that the material required is not with them. The hole created in the wall for pipe is closed from both sides on outer part leaving inside area without filling. The workers created a lot of dust and material in Kitchen and left without removing. They said that it was not their job. There was no supervisor to look at quality of work during installation. The workers even did not have plastic for nails to fix clamps. Nails are not properly inserted and tightened. This was informed to City Gas Bhubaneswar by email at cgd_bhubaneswar [at] gail [dot] co [dot] in on same day to make installation complete as it is a risky system in house. As I did not receive any response, I sent an email reminder on December 14,2019, but till date no action is taken. on the instruction of HQ GAIL where I sent one mail, person visited my house on 5th Jan 2020 when I was away. i requested to visit on 7th Jan.2010 for work but so far no body turned up.The system is not yet operated as I had some LPG left in cylinder. and it seems the authorities in Bhubaneswar have no concern or the system is not activated for customer grievance and complaint. I have not received any paper or my money receipt from City Gas till date so, I am just not satisfied with work culture of GAIL Bhubaneswar. Kindly take appropriate action so that the system is made customer oriented and people are responsible as it is a highly inflammable system and no laxity in work be tolerated.
I need to highlight that service persons should have proper uniform and ID card and office work order while visiting customers which is not being followed by Bhubaneswar office. This is needed for safety of people and also for monitoring by GAIL Office. Online complaint system may be started
