museums in MP
We like to thank your organization for the efforts done for tourists. We have visited MP during 16 days recently and enjoyed everywhere a nice welcome and saw so many nice places. We just want to attract your attention on a specific critical point : the prices of your museums for foreigners are INCONSISTENTS ! Whatever the reason it is abnormal to pay as little as 5 rupies to visit the (good and well maintained) archeological site museum of the Gwalior fort and 200 for te very badly maintained and presented archaeology archives and museum of Indore. Why the (nice) visit of Mandu would cost 900 Rupies (3*300) although that of Khajuraho "only" 600 ?? The extraordinary Tribal museum of Bhopal looks real cheap compared to most of the others..... This is not a complaint but just a call for an effort for evaluating the actual state and interest of the places to visit in MP and to make their cost of access (which are not any more negligeable !) balanced. Orchha giving a common ticket for all monuments is a good and fair example of what should be done elsewhere. Hope that you improve that point in future. Thanks and regards. Michel Picard from France
