Cheating, Harassment by LG India
Although we have sent multiple complaints via email to LG India grievance department, so far, even more than 4-5 days, there has not been even a single response. This is what has happened:
1. We were forced by the Sales Rep. Mr. Rajesh from LG BEST SHOP, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad to purchase a non-popular LG Split AC Maxima and well knowing that it was not in stock, even though we went to purchase Aura 3 star model. On 19/3/2012 we were told when we wanted to know as to when the AC would be delivered and installed, that the stock was not available and it would be take at least 15-20 days and the Stores Manager Mr. Naveen was so rude when he said that we have to wait (with the kind of summer we have in Hyd) for 15-20 days or that we have to shell out Rs. 2000 more to get Aura as if it was our fault. He almost threatened by telling that we can go and complaint to anyone and that nothing would happen to him. We asked him to pay back the amount and for which both Mr. Rajesh and Mr. Naveen really mis-behaved.
2. We reported this to Mr. Bilal (one of the Sr. Manager of LG) and we had a conf. call with one Mr. Sharma (Warehouse in-charge of Bajaj Electronics), whose tone and attitude was not that comfortable to us and he also said that LG Best Shop is their sister concern/store where they sell only LG products. Mr. Bilal also told Mr. Sharma that both Mr. Naveen and Mr. Rajesh have to be removed from LG Best Shop for their rude behavior and misguiding us, but unfortunately when I was driving in that vicinity the next day (20/3/2012), I saw both of them still working at LG Best Shop.
3. On 20/3/2012, the AC was delivered in the morning around 11:30AM or so and on Mr. Sharma’s preferred technician, we were told that the LG technicians would be coming from S P Associates, Medhipatnam, Hyderabad (Mr. Kiran) to install the AC.
4. There were 2 technicians who were not authorized LG nor professional technicians who were sent by Mr. Kiran around 6:30PM and they didn’t know where and how to install the AC and damaged the walls of the bedroom and the bathroom and left mid-way through stating that they would ask Mr. Kiran to send someone who is a professional technician.
5. I called Mr. Sharma who said that we shouldn’t have allowed such people into the house, as if we knew that they were not professionals and he washed out his hands by saying that he is not responsible for anything. After confirming with Mr. Kiran, my wife had allowed these 2 people inside our apartment to install but later found that they were neither from LG group nor professionals.
6. We called and spoke with Mr. Bilal who in turn put us to Mr. Vijay (ASM from LG) and when we told him the way the walls were damaged and that the 2 people who came to install the AC were not professionals, initially he was very rude and he said that LG doesn’t send such kind of people and he said that they belong to LG and when I told him that we already confirmed this with Mr. Kiran, he slowed down and said that he would make sure that he would send professional technicians from LG the next day.
7. He didn’t want to accept that fact that the damages were done but on the hand was trying to tell us that we should forget whatever has happened and said that he would send in professionals as if he was doing a favor to us. The damage was already done but he was very rude in his tone as well as he was trying to protect Mr. Kiran and the men that had come who had damaged the walls and at the end of the day didn’t install the AC as well.
8. I reported this by calling the toll free 800 number on 21/3/2012 and also sent 2 emails and whenever I call the 800 number and talk about the concerns, the first word that I always hear is SORRY and we feel that it is the MOTTO of LG that when a customer purchases any LG product, we were not aware that we get the BONUS and that too FREE of cost (at no additional cost) all the unprofessional technicians to install the product, harassment, cheating, ill-treatment, mental agony etc. as a COMPLETE PACKAGE.
9. Also, the ASM’s (like Mr. Vijay) feel that they are doing a favor and talk so rudely and mis-behave with customers and more or less tell us that we should be happy that our entire apartment was not damaged but these unprofessional technicians damaged few places alone, as if this also comes along with the package.
10. Post installation of the AC on 21/3/2012 by Mr. Kiran and his team, as we were not still happy for the kind of service they provided in installing the AC, in the feedback form we have raised our concerns and also told Mr. Kiran that he must send/share the feedback comments with LG India.
11. Later in the afternoon when Mr. Vijay (ASM) called me and asked if we were happy about the installation, for which we said that we were still not happy as we still felt that these people could have done a better job, and the damage areas was not fixed, Mr. Vijay said that, that is what they could do and said that we must be happy that they installed the AC and also said that he heard the damage areas were covered, for which I told him that he trusts his people more than the customer and when I asked him to visit my place, he was very rude in saying that he doesn’t want to visit any customer’s house.
12. He also told us that he has not received the feedback form from Mr. Kiran and I am sure that he said that because we have raised the concerns about Mr. Vijay in the feedback form as well. We are saying this because when I called Mr. Kiran on 22/3/2012 and asked him as to why he has not handed over the feedback form to Mr. Vijay, Mr. Kiran told me that he in fact had sent one of his colleagues to hand it over to Mr. Vijay the same afternoon (21/3/2012). So it seems like both Mr. Vijay and Mr. Kiran don’t want to share the feedback with LG India, as we feel that it could be a practice not to share the negative feedback with LG India but share only the positive feedback from the Customers.
13. Also, we feel that it is like that the customers should always be polite with all the staff of LG and their associate dealers (even when we told by the customer care rep. that both LG Best Shop and Bajaj Electronics are not the authorized LG dealers but they use LG’s LOGO) and the bottom line is that the customers always have to provide only POSITIVE FEEDBACK, even if they are harassed, ill-treated and so on, as we feel that these are part of the BONUS PACKAGE from LG India post selling of their product.
These 3-4 days as it has been a HELL for us and have caused a lot of MENTAL TENSION/AGONY, harassment, ill-treatment, we are approaching the HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION and also would be approaching my lawyer to file a CRIMINAL CASE against the people who threat us including Mr. Naveen, Mr. Rajesh (both from LG BEST SHOP), Mr. Sharma (Bajaj Electronics), Mr. Vijay (ASM of LG), Mr. Kiran (S P Associates) and also publish this entire episode and would share it with all the LG staff across the world mentioning as to what kind of hardship we had to go through and that the LG India Senior Manager, even after raising several concerns with the grievances cell, have been sitting tight and trying to protect their staff all way along.
LG - Worst Service, Unprofessional & Unethical staff
I have purchased Split AC from company outlet of LG in Ahmedabad. I have been given assurance that since
I am purchasing from company outlet, I will be given high priority in all the services and support calls.
Unfortunately, the AC which I purchased has a manufacturing defect which any person having basic knowledge of electronics can judge. However, to my surprise LG support engineers were not ready to accept it as manufacturing defect and every time they were asking to check one thing or other.
After 10 days of continuous followup they have agreed that it's the fault in the in door unit and it needs to be replaced. However, now they are saying that particular model is not in stock and it will be replaced whenever it will be available. Surprisingly they are not even ready to give approximate date about when it will be available.
I was quite optimistic about LG products and it's after sales services, however after this experience I will certainly not recommend LG products to anybody. I am seriously thinking to go to consumer court if they are not replacing my product in next few days.
Extremely disgusted and frusterated with the LG support team.
I have sworn never to buy a LG product in my life again and also to dissuade anyone who would even dream of buying a LG product.
The first product I bought was a LG washing machine in 2011. Within a year it went bad and I called the LG customer support, logged a complaint. It took them almost 1 month to determine that they would need to take the machine to their center to fix it. Another 1 month later, I was informed that the machine cannot be repaired and since it is within one year of purchase, I will be reimbursed a part of the amount. Three months later, with constant follow up, I received a cheque for it.
I also had purchased a refrigerator from LG in 2008. It was a three door refrigerator and I paid close to 1 Lakh for it. Last year 2011, May 2011, it went phut where it would not cool and the display would show an error. After 1 1/2 months and multiple calls and visits, They told us that the pcb card was not working and so would need to be replaced and will have to be ordered from Korea. I offered to get it couriered as it was extremely difficult in the summer season with out a refrigarator... food getting spoilt etc. Finally after a couple of months, they REPAIRED the old PCB and replaced it temporarily ensuring me that they will replace with a new PCB when they receive it. Guess they never received it and so was never replaced.
Fast forward to Jan 2012... the refrigarator has gone phut again. I have lodged 5 complaints in the last 2 1/2 months so far and each time a LG guy comes, replaces something and charges me and leaves telling us it would work perfectly... Of course it does not. They donot answer the calls. It is March and I am still waiting for it to be fixed.....
To all the guys out there looking to buy any electrical products... I strongly urge you NOT TO.. It does not matter how great the product is.. once it goes bad, you are at their mercy....

MOBILE PHONE SPEAKER PROBLEM
I purchased an LG X330 mobile IMEI NO-354691-040129387 from SATGURU TELECOM,ROORKEE UTTARAKAND on APRIL 17 2011.After 10 months it had a problem with the speaker and it was always showing head set mode.Since the warranty period is available, I took the mobile to the LG service center (GEETANJALI TELECOM,ROORKEE UTTRAKAND) on 06/02/2011. They took it for servicing and promised me that they will give in 3 days. It's been more than 10 days now and still my mobile is not serviced.Everytime when i call the service center i got a reply that it will take three more days. But till today i have not got my mobile .

Poor service suppot on LG CTV
Hi,
I have registered on complaint (120113002298) with LG for replacement of faulty picture tube. Its more than a month now and no update till now. whenever i called up consumer support guys they used to say that they have no update. Even local service centre people doesn't respond to my calls.
Is this the kind of service anyone gets from LG. Till now there is no update from LG guys.
I talked to many guys and they told me that they are also facing similar issues with LG products.
I ask everybody to donot purchase LG products. Please expense 500 rupees more to purchase samsung product or otherwise you will expense 5000 rupees to claim the warranty.
They are selling 3rd class products in india.
worst customer care for LG washing machine
Bought most expensive washing machine (front load) for Rs. 40,000 in March,2010. After few months started giving troubles. I was told heater is not working. It was changed. Again it was not working. I was told PCB is not working. It was changed. Problem continued, no heating at all. LG technician (salim) all the time tried to convince me that machine wasworking fine. It was me who was not able to judge the heating properly.
I persisted with my complaint. Today techician is again coming with some new part. Let me see what happens.
Worst part is when technicians cancel their visit they do not inform and i keep waiting.

I had purchased LGE microwave and the body is damaged. I have tried calling LGE customer care and sending emails and so far i have done that 8 times but no response.

Absurd Warranty Clause and High Handedness of LG Customer Care
I have another story to tell about Customer is king theory on LG products.
Here is the mail sent to LG service which has remained unanswered for more then a year!!!
Dear Sir/ Madame,
I bought DVD Writer through my computer supplier( N-Tech Automation) in
may 2010 and I was amazed to see that it was not working by 1st week of
June. So I called my supplier for after sales service and his technician told
me that Writer is not working and will be sent for repair in LG Service
Center and he took off the Writer from my computer.
The writer was send to LG Service Center at Lamington Road in Mumbai
And they repaired it but it was not working properly so it was sent back
again and again and again three times and after that LG Service center said
that "Normally we do not replace with new one but in your case we will do
replace it with new one"
The new one was installed and within 7 days it stopped working and it
was again taken by my supplier for repair from LG Service Center.
Now I lost my cool and asked my supplier "What's going on here?" And
they told me that the company policy is such that we can not do any thing.
We have to bear with them. I really got mad with this answer and to check
whether my supplier is taking me for a ride or they are talking truth I
called up LG Toll Free Number and got Tel No. of Ms Sanjivani
(9920380085) Service Manager Mumbai.
I called up Ms Sanjivani, She would either disconnect the line or would
not reply. ( It's the case for last three days, she is not replying or
picking up the line) So I called up again the LG Toll Free No and this time
they gave me the Number of one Mr. Praful Karkare (9930802991). When I
called him up He asked me to contact Mr. Sumesh and gave me his no.

I called him up and I had very exhaustive talk with me and I got the
shock of my life when he informed me that their warranty of one year means if
the consumer reports manufacturing defect with in 15 days of Date of
arrival of product then only they replace with new one otherwise they just replace
it with refurbished product and this is not only valid for DVD Writers but
all the products of LG Electronics.
Now the question is whether LG is manufacturing new items only or also
buying old items from the market otherwise from where they have got old
pieces to refurbish it and give it to the consumers or it means that
whatever items they have replaced (which are reported of manufacturing
defects with in 15 days or in this case the 3 DVD Writers which were
taken back after finding it not in good condition) with new pieces are
repaired again for some other unsuspecting client.
The second question is, is there any quality control division in LG
Electronics India? Otherwise how can a new piece develop manufacturing
defect in two to three weeks and then on service center hand over
defective piece one after another for three times and then again when they give
new piece develops defect that they have to give new piece all over again
to me?
So what I conclude is that their policy is to see that the quality of
the product remains good for 15 days and after that they can play fool with
the consumers with vague and absolutely rubbish warranty system at the cost
of consumer's hard earned money!!!
When I asked Mr. Sumesh to give me this absurd policy of the company in
writing he shot back I don't want to divulge company policy with other
competitors" I don't understand what sort of secret I had asked him to
give me in writing. But this shows total high-handedness and ruthlessness
and carelessness and irresponsible behavior or senior service manager.
One more question arises out of this sorry episode that the LG Company
also sells the DVD Writers with out box packing, Date of Manufacturing or
Price on the product!!! This is truly in violation of the consumer rights !!!

Respected Sir,
I have bought a LG Airconditioner which has a delivery date of 18/11/2011 from Kohinoor Televideo PVT. LTD.
The address of above center is 182,Haji Habib Bldg,Opp Fire Brigade, Dr B.A Rd, Dadar East , Mumbai 400014 .
The model code of AC is S1.5L5E3S with the order no. ORD1229383 and Invoice no. DAD/719567.
They delivered this AC two times.First time they delivered was a defective piece which was broke from the side
with the sensor.Before installing , we came to know that this AC was defective and of older version.So we sent it back and
they delivered another second AC.
Second AC was installed properly but the pipe was not installed correctly. the technician bend that pipe and
there was a danger of gas leaking out.So i recalled him and the technician came again and corrected as per my suggestion.
AC worked for nearly 2 days and after that its sensor failed down.Now , the problem is the sensor is not working in just 2 days
and for turning ON the AC , we have to turn it ON manually.
This has been for 2 weeks and i am very sure that the second AC was also the old one because it had a lot of
moisture and dust in it.If i have not turn my AC more than 3 times how come that the AC will contain the dust?This was the
reason i am sure that the AC is the old oneAfter all this , i called that shop 5 times and did go there 2 times but they are not
responding to my complaint and the AC is not working too.
I hope that you will find the solution as quickly as possible till 13 December as i have function in my home.

Replacement of DVD
We have purchased DVD player Model No. 622 from Ghaziabad (Calcagadi chock) LG showroom on 25 Oct,2011. But it was a defective peace because it was not properly read DVD and hang up many times. It was also showing no disk while disk was inside DVD. So we complaint LG service center for this on 5 Nov,2011. Engineer come and said that card is defective in this DVD player. We don’t want to repair this DVD player, we want that DVD player should be replaced only because when we had paid amount for this then why we should have defective peace. We also called Pooja Mathur (Manager) who didn't pick phone.

L G Double Door Refrigerator not working
My LG double door Refrigerator Model GR 352 QLC went dead on 1.11.11. On 2.11.11 I complained to help line and they registered the complaint vide 111102077959. I agreed to pay the repair charges. The same day a mechanic came and said the CPB needs replacement. On 6.11.11 the mechanic brought a CPB unit but this did not couple. He said he will bring another CPB unit. When? He could not assure us that it will be done soon.
Without the Frig running and without any hope of an early solution we are stuck.

I bought your product on Oct 24, 2011 in Meerut from Getanjali Electronics and since then there is no demo of the product.When I tried to contact the service center at numbers 9719919672 (ALWAYS SWITCH OFF....I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY CALL CENTER GIVE THIS NUMBER WHEN ITS ALWAYS SWITCHED OFF) and 9811354152 (SO CALLED MANAGER POOJA MATHUR WHO NEVER PICKS UP THE CALL) but no response.

We made our very first complaint and it was responded with your service engineers with a Thermostat Replace. But until now our complaint is still the same and it has never been correctly attended to rectify our problem. After 6 years of on going tussle to rectify this basic problem I have come to an definite conclusion that your Technical team is totally unreliable,unheeding and Uncaring to our concerns. I have decided to take your help as a final resort before deciding further proceedings. I hope that your team will definitely take up this issue seriously and provide us with the required corrective measures. I would also like to inform you that all our family members living in various places across the country have been using LG products and we are continuing to use them for our future generation as well. We have been using refrigerator for the past 25 years and this is our 3rd refrigerator We have never ever had any problem with any of our other purchases and we have been extremely happy with our purchase decision except this particular complaint and incident.
After the first thermostat replace by your engineers we have just been seeing your guys just coming in and collecting visiting charges for the same and do the consistently incorrect approach of just adjusting the temperature knob and just blindly assuring that the everything is fine but nothing is fine till now. TO help you with our list of complaints so as to enable you to correctly understand the nature of the problem,iam herewith listing it down in numerical order.
1) Any item like milk,curd,gets ice pieces/particles of ice deposited on top of them, which is against the principle and logic of refrigeration.
2) All the vegetables kept in the vegetable tray gets spoilt on of its sides and gets rotten and gives appearance like soil because of ice particles around and again this establishes that the very principle of refrigeration getting defeated.
3) There has been absolutely no problem in the freezer compartment for the last 5-6years.
4) Every 6 months /year we make complaints to your official customer care. We keep requesting senior guys to come over and fix this problem. Until now we haven’t been visited by a Senior Engineer and the problem is still left in an unattended state. IS LG experiencing a dearth of senior technical support staff?
We are representing to you on a final bid before going to complain to any consumer forum which is against our emotional connect to LG. Request you to send someone and fix the problem and enable us to use the refrigerator in perfect condition.

It is a matter of great concern & surprise that I had purchased your computer Model no.- intl C13(2100) vide Bill No.BSM/R1/12093dated 24.05.2011from M/S Bansal Star Mart ,Shakarpur,New Delhi.
This computer started giving troubles from the last 10 days but since these were tolerable hence were ignored from your end.
However, when I had no other alternative, I approached/complained your authorized service Centre i.e M/S Bansal Star Mart ,Shakarpur,New Delhi vide Complaint no.-RNA 110920017182 on dated- 20/09/11.
After that, visiting so many times your service centre.
Now, after passing 10 days, the problem is as it is.
You will appreciate that I have purchased your product due to your product durability & reputation in the market but under the above circumstances, I feel that these are not considered as satisfactory. Above these your Service Centre Service are also not reliable since within a period of 10 days, same fault is being experienced. I now feel cheated that in the first instance ,Under the above circumstances, I approach your good office that prompt action may be taken to replace my defective Computer so that I can get satisfactory service of your product without fail.

poor service from LG
I have experienced the worst service response from LG customer support.
I have made up my mind to file a suit against LG.
I had got my AC gas refilled in sep/2010 by authorised service center at Vasundhara, Ghaziabad ,which was discharged within 6 months of its use.
Now service center is asking to refill the gas again and charging Rs 1428/- for the same.
this is really disappointing that an authorized service center has such a poor quality of service.
do I need to pay such a hefty charges every year?
I am suppose to bear such a heavy gas refilling charges for the faulty and careless service from service center.
Most surprisingly, I have written so many emails & reminder at "serviceindia [at] lge [dot] com" but none of the officer has even bothered to contact me.
I have decided to neither buy LG products in future nor recommend to any body.

LG SERVICE POLICY FOR CUSTOMER
I purchased a microwave oven on 02/08/11, model no. MC-7148MS. On 20/6/11 a problem occur in the microwave oven and I complaint the same to LG vide complain Ref.no.RNA110620015479. A executive come to meet me and said kavd and myeka need to be changed but it will take some time nearly 15days to one month. But the said executive never came again and I am still waiting. Now I have mailed all the matter in your LG website on 18/09/2011. On 19/09/2011 a executive come to me with a new complain no and said that the warranty period is over and it will attract charges to repair the same when I asked about my old complain he say you have to talk with Mishra ji, our branch head. I am calling to him and he says your old complain is closed and he never want to talk about old complain.
Now I want to know how the old complain can close without resolving it and wait for warranty period expiry. Is this the policy of the company?

Hopeless service
I registered call with LG Service center on 16th Sep'2011 and my request id is RNA110916052411. Further to registering call, I had a word with Customer Care Officer also who assured me for the prompt resolution of the issue. Subsequently, I approached Service Center to get the status on my call at their end and each time they told me that within 4 hours their technical person will communicate with us.
So far the reported problem is unattended and none of the concerned person is bothered to look into it.
I am not sure whether management looking after services do review their quality of response / resolution. Whether they are interested in improvement is a matter of great concern. If such approach on support from LG continue, I fear whether people will have interest in LG products.
I request to concerned staff of LG to look into it & ensure to enhance the customer satisfaction so that such remarks could be avoided since none of us have time to keep on writing such feedback.

I have recently bought a LG Washing Machine F1256QDP from Reliance Digital.
After numerous times of follow-up they came for the Demo and have finished it without explaining the basic details of the Machine. They have missed the basic explanation like who do I put the machine in to drier. Being new to the Machine I don’t want to experiment with this expensive machine.
It is hard to get in touch with the service agents from the company and harder to ask them to explain that how do I do any said function.
The Customer care should understand the problem of the customer and the availability of the customer care number will make the customer happy. But LG doesn’t believe in giving the Customer care number.

Complaint regarding repair of TV set
This is with referance to my complaint no. RNA 110910038618. I have a Flatron LG XD 29"TV. It has been out of order since 8th Sep'11. Repeated complaints to the local LG customer care centre at Bareilly has yielded nothing but assurances. Even the complaint lodged at cusomer care service Noida ,vide above complaint no., which assured service within 24 Hrs has yielded no response. This set was repaired for the same defect by the local LG service in May'11 but within 4 months it has failed again. You are requested to issue suitable instructions to the Bareilly LG service provider and carry out urgent repairs to avoid inconvenience to your customers.

Pathetic Service for LG Microwave
Our microwave was been purchased from National Electronics , Jamshedpur. The user panel for setting time and temperature was not working. So, complain was register and they had sent engineers from Authoriesd LG service center. They took Rs 3300 and changed the entire panel. It did not even work 1 day. It is a great shame for such a great company that even after 1 and a half month, the panel has not been replaced, neither the money had been refunded.
I am going to sue the Authorised service center as well as the company soon in the Consumer court if the problem is not rectified soon.

I purchased LG Washing machine from Vivkes, T.Nagar, Chennai on 21-Aug-2011. Due house shifting, I requested Viveks to deliver the washing machine to my new address on 29-Aug-2011. I got the washing machine delived to me on 29-Aug-2011. Due to house shifting and settlement, we could not do hand washing so heavily waiting for washing machine to be installed immediately. But LG installation person did not come on 30th and I called both Viveks and LG customer care. LG customer rep promised to send on 1-Sep-2011, but nobody came. When I called both LG and Vivkek, they said another 24 hours, and they repeated the same on Friday. Today is 2-Sep-2011, Friday and till now nobody came. Now they promised to come tomorrow, Saturday but I might want to go out tomorrow for many other pending tasks. How long can I patiently wait with the frustration. Please help.

Sub.:- Harrassment & Unsatisfactory service after sale
Dear Sir,
It is a matter of great concern & surprise that I had purchased your Refrigerator Model no.- GL325TM vide Bill No.3592 dated 12.06.06 from M/S Electro World, Panipat.
This Refrigerator started giving troubles from the last 2 years but since these were tolerable hence were ignored from my side.
However, when I had no other alternative, I approached/complained your authorized service Centre i.e M/S Hari Om Service, Panipat vide Complaint no.- 110601048605 on dated- 31/05/11.
After that, visiting so many times your service centre , finally Mr. Rathi (Engr.) visited my residence NFL ,Township,Panipat & clarified that Gas is to be filled up. Hence, gas was filled up on dated 07.06.11 & an amount of Rs,1030/- was charged from me vide Receipt No. 2182.But, again the same fault was noticed & complained in this regard. Then, gas was filled up on 09.06.11 again.
Now, after passing 2 months time, the same problem has arisen & when your Service Centre was contacted vide Complaint no.- RNA110827010506 dated 27/8/11 in this regard & they ( Mr. Pawan ,Engr.) have mentioned that compressor has to be replaced & since my Refrigerator’s guarantee period has been over in the month of May,2011 hence Rs, 4200.00 has to be paid by me.
You will appreciate that I have purchased your product due to your product durability & reputation in the market but under the above circumstances, I feel that these are not considered as satisfactory. Above these your Service Centre Service are also not reliable since within a period of 2 months, same fault is being experienced. I now feel cheated that in the first instance i.e on dt. 31.05.11, compressor was required to be replaced which was not replaced at that time so that my grievance could have been resolved once for all but this was not done & Rs.1060/- was wrongly charged from me. Reasons for not replacing compressor at that time are well known to your Service Centre, Panipat.
Under the above circumstances, I approach your good office that prompt action may be taken to replace my defective Compressor so that I can get satisfactory service of your product without fail.
Needless to mention that action to refund my earlier paid amount of Rs.1060/- is required by your good office which were wrongly charged by your Service Centre. I hope, keeping in view your good /healthy relations with the your customers an appropriate action will be taken.

My Tft bill is 02-02-2011. adapter have problem i diagnose service center say only six month warranty but customer care say one year warranty my loss is about one lakh within fourty days . say 24hours& 12 hours problem solve

Complaint for Mobile Handset
Sir,
I had bought an LG handset model no. G-5155 on 29.08.10 at Ayodhya, District-Faizabad in UP. Suddenly on 14.08.11 the phone has lost the light, then I took away to your service centre in Faizabad where they asked to leave the set for 3 days.
I left the set on 17.08.11, but they have not given till now. it seems that the Company does not care towards their product as well as their service too.
One another hand set of the same model was purchased by my relative on 25.11.2010, the same problem took place on18.08.11. I have given to service centre on 19.08.11, but it also could not repaired by your centre till now. Please , let me inform why is it so ? How much time you will take regarding my complaint.

Dear sir,
I Have a Double Door Refrigerator (Dios) hardly 6 year old. Apart from it we have lots of other Refrigerators, projector and Air conditioners from LG at my company premises, and till time I was a HAPPY Customer for above products.
Problem Started when our Dios stopped working, and no other Technician was able to cure it. And definitely the size and cost of Dios made local technician run away. So we called LG customer Care number on 16th Aug which claims 24hr service period and till date I am regularly calling them and waiting for that 24hr duration to end. I recognized I WAS a HAPPY customer of LG because I never called LG customer Care number.
Anyway I dont have other option, because the DIOS unit is a complicated model, all I can do is request LG or throw that thing. Through this I once again request you all, please REPAIR THE FRIDGE.

Ice formation occure at air suction (eveporator) when reduce the Tempreture (say below 24 ) specially in rainy season and also reduced air flow. please help, It's urgent.
Extremely poor service
Let me first inform you that LG has the most pathetic repair services . After severe harrassment, I am planning to serve a legal notice and go to consumer court. However, I am writing this email to avoid legal hassles. I hope to receive a response in next 3 days.
I have a plasma TV 42PG21R (3 years old). The TV developed a snag around 2 months for which I lodged a complaint no. (RNA110603025057). After contacting the 1800 no. several times, I got a call from service centre and a technician visited my place. He recommended me to get two boards changed in TV and I asked him to get the parts. Later, after 20 days of no response I called 1800 number and they asked me to register another complaintRNA110622003932. After that, the service centre sent a guy with parts and charged me Rs. 13000/-. Just after he left, TV again went blank and I had to register the complaint -RNA11070404845. Now it has been more than 25days and no response.I feel cheated with loss of Rs. 13000/- and a dead TV.

I have purchased LG A/C in 2009.in the month of july 2011 my A/c stop working ,thereafter i contcted to LG Office ,Sahu Agency ,Lucknow.They told that compresor of A/C will be changed by company and in advance they taken me 1700/- +350/-=1950/-RS.
Now i have remind him several time pls instal the A/C in time.But Mr. Aslam(0522-4040100) at service center at Lucknow speak in very bad manner.I am very fed up by LG Poor service,even though i have pay in advance

Mobile not getting switch on.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I had purchased LG mobile(GX 200) on 25.07.10 and within year on 25.07.11 it was get automatically switch off & not getting on, so on 30.07.11 I visited to your service centre at mulund & infd the mob prb -1st they told me the repairs ch of Rs.150/- & again at evening when I inquired about my mobile they told me the charges of Rs.950/-
So please help me in resolving this problem. I had purchased this mobile with a trust that LG mobile is of Good quality & will work for long but I am very much disappointed with the Quality of LG Mobile as within a year such a big prb that I have to spend Rs.1000/-

Dear sir,
Recently we bought one LED TV from abroad, it has been cracked down during transportation. We lodged a complaint with our local LG service centre.. once LG executive visited n told to bring TV to the service ccentre.. we too took the TV to the service centre n further he reported that the panel to be changed. we told that we are readfy to pay the cost incurred for buying of that panel.. for past 90 days we are following the LG executive through phone calls n e-mails. but worst response we have received... Really we fed up of buying LG product..
In ur ads, u r very well projecting abt the service, but in the real scene it very negative and pathetic..
by seeing our sufferings with ur service, our neighbours too decided not to buy ur product...
If these continues, ur company will be last in this competitive race...

THE WINDOW A/C IS NOT WORKING WHICH I HAVE PURCHASED TWO YEARS BACK.
SOME BAD SMELL IS COMING OUT OF a/c cabinet while operating the same.

i had complaint about my LED TV on 17/7/2011 with complaint no.-RNA-110717079149.they said that our costumer executive will contact you in nex 24 hours but wen they came they had given mobile no.s of two persons ( Girish- 9711187921 and Arvinder-9711187903) to call them and ask them to pick our unit from our home.We called then daily for 1 whole week and they always say that our customer executive will be comind today to take your unit but they never came. After one week i again complained on 23/07/2011 with complaint no-RNA-107723026860 and talked to Mr. Pradeep Gupta. Even aftr complaining second time they did not came to repair my unit so i called them again on 25/07/2011 and they gave me no. of Mr. Amit Aggarwal(Area Manager of costumer Care Branch, Rajouri Garden). I called him atleast 20 times but still he is not picking up the phone. So I recommend You to Think atleast once before buying any LG product.

I am using LG Products for years. I had no problem with the LG products. but last May, I puchased split AC from LG . I am very much disappointed to see the performance. Ac is not working properly. I complained the dealer/ customer care but not got the satisfactory result. Often the compressor stopps running . Only the fan runs with no cooling at all. please help me . Is there any option to return the product.

It is pathetic to see all these number of LG customer's unhappy with the handling of complaints, after reading most of the comments, I am apprehensive when my complaint shall be entertain. In this compitetive atmosphere were service is the USP for every company to increase their market share, I wonder how service center take things lightly.
Anyways I have lodge a complaint with your call center for my LED TV, and was told that, we can expect a call in 24 hours, but so far there is no response from your end.

LG products – Servicing under Regular Warranty & HAPPY LIVING PL
I am using various LG products for the last more than ten years. I was convinced that the LG products were good quality products competitively priced and carry best after sale service and value for the money spent. During this period besides purchasing various LG products for my own use I gifted these products to my daughter on her marriage and convinced my friends to opt for these products.
Following complaints lodged with your customer service centre remained un-attended till date:
· RNA 11623017922 dated 23/06/2011 (talked to Mr. Bhardwaj & Sonia , Call duration 7 minutes) – received telephone call from the engineer whom the complaint was allotted to by the service centre, the engineer enquired about the complaint, promised to come the next day but did not come. Waited for the engineer till 27/06/2011.
· RNA 110627063931 dated 27/06/2011 (talked to Mr. Harinder and Pinky, call duration 10 minutes) – the engineer whom the complaint was allotted to, called and enquired about the reason and purpose of complaint – (i) attempted to avoid visiting the place (ii) visited the place, wanted my signature on the service book to complete the formality of his visit. He was informed that the service book would be signed only after the drain hose is changed as required promised to return the next day with the requisite drain hose did not return.
· RNA110701062379 dated 01/07/2011 (talked to Mr. Jai Prakash and Mr. Ratnesh, call duration 17 minutes) – NO RESPONSE
In this connection I may add that while lodging my complaint I had clarified the following points to your executives attending to my call on 23/06/2011, 27/06/2011 and 01/07/2011:
· That my washing machine Model No. WFT 7519 JG is to be serviced as it has not been serviced since the day it was purchased.
· That the Drain hose is required to be extended i.e. a longer drain hose is required to be fitted.
· That the washing machine was purchased from M/s Electronic Paradise (North) Exclusive LG Shoppe, Pitampura, New Delhi vide Invoice No. RO 38417 dated 13/12/2009.
· That besides, the machine was also covered under HAPPY LIVING PLAN No. JK 18935 valid till 18/12/2015.
I am sorry to write that the current management of LG does not seem to value their customers any more otherwise how come that the complaints lodged with the customer service centre go unattended despite repeated reminders. I fail to understand as to why do you people recommend and persuade customers to opt for extended warranties under HAPPY LIVING PLAN if you do not intend to provide the preventive maintenance and service even after entering into such a contract with the customers. When I purchased the machine, the LG engineer Mr. Sunil Kant, who came for the installation of the machine advised me that if I opt for the HAPPY LIVING PLAN at Rs.2824/-, the warranty of the machine will stand extended and 50% of the amount paid will be refunded after expiry of the HAPPY LIVING PLAN.
I am not satisfied with the after sale service or the preventive maintenance rendered by your company. Since the Washing Machine purchased on 13/12/2009 was still under regular warranty, I do not wish to avail extended warranty under HAPPY LIVING PLAN. I, therefore, call upon you to refund the money collected from me under the HAPPY LIVING PLAN and arrange for immediate service of my washing machine.

For past decade I have been buying only LG Acs for home & office.Never had issues.Now even the best highend models too dont work for more than a year & repairs they say not possible as parts not available.We have now moved to Voltas.

very bad service
The handle of my refrigerator has been broken since the last month. my complaint no. is 110615007125. The service company first said that the model is now withdrawn ( my fridge is only 5 years old). After i insisited they have placed an order but apparently the part has still not been delivered to them. Kindly look into this matter and please get it solved as soon as possible.

1. Service centers are not advising to use battery during purchase, where consumer is assuming them self that battery is already built in. Hence its becoming surprise after reaching home and found not working.
Service center are working in an intention to achieve sales target only. They are not in a position to work for customer which is suppose to be moto of service centers.
The above details has been explained by me to LG Direct Service Center, Vadapalani, Chennai on 16.07.11. But the technical coordinator is not understanding the consumers point of view.
2. From morning on 16.07.11, am keep on calling LG Direct Service Center, Vadapalani, Chennai to the contact number 044 64549186 [This number was received from customer care]. No response,its ringing all the time. Hence, what for service require from LG Direct Service Center, Vadapalani, Chennai. What is the comfort level your organisation is providing to customer. What is the message your organisation is going to emphasize to the technical coordinator who spoke to me. He not reveling the name till my discussion and not providing the email ID for me to send complaint.

I purchased one handset LG P500 and after a month there was some problem in booting,so I handed to Lg Service Center in Shillong in Barik ... but till now my handset has not been fixed and now they are telling me that it will take another 10 days as they are going to change the pcb circuit because they ll have to order it.
My intention to write is that why the LG Company does not provide spare parts to the center whereas they have to ordered it.

Purchased a handset LG KM900 Arena and after a few months the touch screen gave problems. I visited the Lg Service Center in Shillong in Barik ... and now its been one month that they are making me wait for the parts to arrive at the center.... plus my warranty period will be ending on November this year (2011)... Every time i call them the same answer "have to wait for a week for the parts to reach the center" .. Its getting really irritating because i cant even use my phone now....

POOR service from LG
LG service after sales is very poor.
My comlaint number is RNA110611070263. The complaint was registered one month back. The LG technicion visited twice to repair the problem. but he does not able to diagnose the problem then they told me to take LG LCD at their service center. I took LCD to their service centre, after 1 week, i am not able to get the proper feedback from service centre.
Now please help me to get out of it.
